Between 17 and 18 October 2019, our Advocate Mr. Zacharias Kapsis of the Shipping Department, represented A. Karitzis & Associates L.L.C, participating in the 25th European Maritime Law Organisation’s Annual Conference.
The aforementioned conference took place in Limassol, Cyprus and hosted a plethora of distinguished delegates from all over the world. The conference focused amongst others on the EU Maritime policy, the current challenges of the new forthcoming environmental regulations on shipping and the maritime regulatory issues of Cyprus.
The European Maritime Law Organisation (EMLO) was established in 1991 to provide a neutral and independent forum for debate and research on issues of interest to those concerned with EU maritime affairs, including both owners and shippers, and the European Commission maritime transport and competition law directorates general.
